If you wish to meet at the harbor instead that is fine - however please let me know so we are not waiting on you at the church. We will be boarding the boat to go to the island at 8:30 and re-boarding the boat to come back at approx. 3:00. We should arrive back at the church between 3:30 and 4:00. Here is a list of things to bring with you: leather gloves (for picking up glass and rusty metal) sunscreen/hat/sunglasses bug spray boy scout pants that zip off - please label everything with scouts name!!! (The beautification commision suggests long pants because the interior of the island has long grass.) beach shoes (shoes that can get wet - NO open-toed shoes ie flip flops) life jacket (if you don't have one they will have a few extras on the boat) pack lunch/snacks water/drinks/ (the troop will provide the coolers) ice will be provided If you don't come prepared you may not be able to participate. You must be self-sufficient on this island. BE PREPARED!
